Secretary

Purvi Jain is going into her 2nd year of studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Exeter College, Oxford. She never fails to be intrigued by the complexities and cultural nuances of political systems in different countries—particularly in Southeast Asia, where she is from. Her academic interests lie especially in hybrid regimes, which she finds compelling for the way they blur traditional power structures and test the balance between authority and legitimacy. As the Secretary of the Oxford Diplomatic Society, she is looking forward to a year filled with stimulating discussions and exciting activities!
