Events Officer

Nora Miles is in her third year studying for a BA in French and Russian at New College. Her choice to study languages was informed by a desire to take part in the response to the Russian threat to European sovereignty, which promises to be a defining diplomatic challenge of our lifetimes. She is excited to take on the role of Events Officer with Diplomatic Society to help facilitate interesting dialogue and policy discussion. After having spent the past year in Tallinn, she takes a particular interest in European policy towards the war in Ukraine and its implications for the future of the Baltic states, as well as for the future of Europe’s international partnerships.
